In loving memory of Saw Ni

On Wednesday, August 5th, we experienced a devastating loss to our community yesterday 💔It is with a heavy heart to share that Saw Ni Keday Moo’s life was taken way too soon. He was a beautiful soul- a loving and kind man always there for his family and community. He was a valued husband, father and friend to many; a small business owner, and hardworking American who moved here as a refugee from Burma in early 2015 and became a citizen last year with his wife and young daughter. He was an active member at First Baptist Church, where he met his friend and client whose house he was working at when lightning struck and killed him. He also worked at Capitol Ford in Wilmington for many years. His resilience, success, leadership, friendship, and heart of gold were admirable and will forever leave an imprint on our hearts.

If you would like to support his wife and three year old daughter through this tragedy, please consider sending them a [specificed] donation through Venmo or PayPal (pay pal will take a small fee from the donation):

100% of donations will go to his beloved wife and daughter. They meant the world to him, and our deepest condolences and prayers are with them through these unimaginable times.
